1. Scope
This policy applies to the public SCIOS website and to SCIOS application features made available by us. A self-hosted or operator-managed SCIOS deployment may process information under that operator's own policies and instructions. Third-party services also apply their own privacy terms.
2. Information we handle
Information you provide
We may receive contact details and message content when you email us or request access. Within the application, SCIOS may process objectives, prompts, uploaded or configured content, workflow settings, approvals, and other information an authorized operator submits.
Billing information
Stripe processes payment credentials and may provide SCIOS with limited transaction information such as customer contact details, product or price identifiers, subscription status, amount, currency, provider transaction identifiers, and payment status. SCIOS does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers through this website.
Operational information
SCIOS may create service-health records, decision and approval records, execution results, error reports, timestamps, provider responses, and audit logs needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the requested workflow.
Public website information
We do not currently place advertising cookies or include our own analytics scripts on this website. The site is hosted by GitHub Pages, and GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, and security logs under its own privacy statement.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure SCIOS, execute operator-configured workflows, show system and decision status, maintain auditability, respond to support requests, troubleshoot failures, enforce applicable controls, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or Google user data.
4. Google and YouTube user data
SCIOS uses the YouTube Data API only to upload SCIOS-owned commercials about SCIOS, available SCIOS services, and available SCIOS ventures to the owner-authorized channel. Customers do not create, direct, control, or upload these commercials. YouTube upload is not a customer feature and is not included in customer dashboards. SCIOS requests only the Google OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload.
Authorization to upload videos to the YouTube channel associated with the consenting owner’s Google account. SCIOS does not receive or store the account's Google password.
Only to upload SCIOS-owned commercials about SCIOS, available services, and available ventures, and to report whether each upload succeeded.
OAuth authorization tokens may be stored in the owner-controlled SCIOS environment. Upload results, including a YouTube video identifier, status, error, and timestamp, may be retained in operational records.
Video content and the authorization request are transmitted to Google/YouTube only to perform the requested upload. We do not transfer Google user data to customers, advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties, and do not use it to train generalized AI or create advertising profiles.
SCIOS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Revoke or delete YouTube access
You can revoke SCIOS access at any time from Google Account third-party connections. An authorized owner can also remove the stored authorization from SCIOS. To request deletion of Google-linked records controlled by us, email support@scios.site with the subject “Google-linked data deletion request.” Revocation stops future API access but does not automatically delete videos already uploaded to YouTube; those can be managed in YouTube Studio.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including active service delivery, security, auditability, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. Retention in a self-hosted installation is controlled by its operator. You may request deletion of information controlled by us by contacting us. We may need to verify the request, and some records may be retained where legally required or necessary for security and integrity.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing. Contact us to exercise a request. You may also disconnect any optional integration and decline to provide information, although a related function may then be unavailable.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Operators are responsible for securing their deployment, devices, networks, credentials, permissions, and backups.
9. Children
SCIOS is a business and operational tool and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
10. International processing and changes
Information may be processed where SCIOS, an operator, or a service provider operates, subject to applicable safeguards. We may update this policy as the application, integrations, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version; material changes will be presented through an appropriate public or in-application notice.
